About

I am a PhD student in the theory group of Sofia Qvarfort working on the interplay of gravity with low-energy quantum systems. Specifically, my research is concerned with how large-mass systems in the quantum regime couple to gravity, be it via mass-energy equivalence, time dilation effects or other phenomena. Making use of both fundamental theory and effective models, I try to answer questions such as:

- What is the gravitational field sourced by a massive quantum system in superposition? - How can quantum states of large-mass systems be created (c.f. Schrödinger's cat)? - What must change in the classical description of general relativity to accommodate quantum features of source masses?
