Complex Systems

Complex systems research investigates how rich collective behavior emerges from many interacting components across scales. We study systems shaped by nonlinearity, multiscale dynamics, self-organization, and emergent phenomena, with applications ranging from climate physics and turbulence to complex fluids, polymers, networks, ecology, and neuroscience.
