About

Elisa Mema is a PhD student at Nordita, where she joined the COSMOMAG project in September 2026. Her research focuses on primordial magnetic fields. She is jointly supervised by Professor Axel Brandenburg at Nordita and Professor Chiara Caprini at CERN.

She completed her MSc in Theoretical Physics in 2025 at the University of Milan-Bicocca, with a thesis focused on second-order cosmological perturbations.

Her main interests are cosmology and the physics of the early Universe.
