Yaron Kedem received his PhD in theoretical physics from Tel Aviv University in Israel 2013.

Yaron is currently working on connections between superconductivity and quantum critical points (QCP). The main focus is on pairing caused by electron phonon coupling, where the phonons are modes related to a ferroelectric (quantum) phase transition. His previous research was in the field of quantum information, looking into different aspects of quantum measurement, and in particular the technique of Weak Measurements. He aspire to apply ideas and concepts from quantum information to problems of condensed matter systems.
