Nordita Fellow

About

Stefan Zieme received his PhD in 2010 from the Humboldt University of Berlin. His thesis was conducted and supervised at the Albert-Einstein-Institute in Potsdam. He joined Nordita for his first post-doc in October 2010.

The aspects of his work reside in the AdS/CFT correspondence with a focus on the determination of spectral data of the maximal supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory in four dimensions (N=4 SYM) making use of the integrability of the theory. He has performed several higher-loop computation of anomalous dimension of gauge theory operators and also conducted strong coupling analysis at the stringy regime of N=4 SYM. His collaborations include researchers from Sweden (Uppsala), USA (Tempe), Russia (Dubna), Italy (Lecce), Poland (Krakow), Germany (Potsdam) and Great Britain (London) with whom he keeps good relations.

Since he joined Nordita he started to work with Prof. Konstantin Zarembo to explore the string side of the AdS/CFT correspondence towards a better understanding of the spectral and state equivalence.
