About

Mikhail Modestov received his PhD from Umeå University in 2012; the same year he joined Nordita as a post-doc fellow. Mikhail is mostly interested in fronts behaviour and their stability properties. He has studied fronts of different nature such as flames, supernovae, laser ablation, quantum plasmas, doping process in organic semiconductors and finally in crystals of molecular magnets.
