Lavinia Heisenberg received her PhD at the University of Geneva in 2014

Lavinia's main area of expertise is gravity and cosmology, in particular models of modified gravity. Her research so far has been mainly devoted to the study of field theories, specially within the context of Massive Gravity, higher dimensional scenarios, Galileon fields and vector fields, comprising the fundamental properties of field theories, their cosmological consequences and observational signatures.
