I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Nordita. My research focuses on non-Lorentzian physics, particularly the Carrollian and non-relativistic limits of gravity and string theory, and on lower-dimensional models such as Jackiw–Teitelboim gravity and three-dimensional gravity. A central goal of my current work is to understand new corner structures in 2+1-dimensional gravity, their connection to the Hall effect, and their role in flat-space holography. In a parallel line of research, I study conserved charges in general relativity using covariant phase space methods, with applications to black hole mechanics and thermodynamics. I am also interested in spacetime symmetries in condensed-matter systems such as fractons, and in topological solitons in the Skyrme model.
I received my PhD in 2021 from the University of Concepción and the Centro de Estudios Científicos (CECs) in Valdivia, Chile, and spent a year as a visiting PhD student at the Niels Bohr Institute. Before joining Nordita, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Iceland (2022–2026).
