Dario Bettoni received his Ph.D. in 2013 from SISSA, Trieste. He then was a postdoc at Technion, Israel for two years.

His research is focused on theoretical aspects of cosmology and theory of gravitation. In particular, he works on theory of non-minimally coupled fluids, scalar tensor theories and Horndeski action. He is also interested in Lorentz violating theories and their cosmological consequences.
