About

Christopher Triola received his Ph.D. from the College of William and Mary in Spring 2015.

Much of his previous research has focused on the electronic properties of Dirac materials. His work has included the study of the screening and collective modes of bilayer graphene, calculations of the spin textures in graphene-topological insulator heterostructures, and studying the effect of a spin-active interface on proximity-induced superconductivity in topological insulators. In addition to continuing his research on Dirac materials he is interested in odd-frequency superconductivity and majorana fermions in condensed matter systems.
