About

Anders Kvellestad received his PhD from the University of Oslo in 2015. He has worked on the phenomenology of various supersymmetric models, with an emphasis on topics such as naturalness and discoverability at the LHC. Currently he is looking to explore also non-supersymmetric theories.

Anders has taken a special interest in the methods used to perform large statistical fits of new physics models, so-called global fits. He is a member of GAMBIT, a collaboration of around 30 theorists and experimentalists whose aim is to write an open-source, "second generation" tool for performing global fits to new physics theories. Using this tool several theories can be subjected to global fits for the first time, and higher quality fits can be performed for the more commonly studied theories.
