About
Adrian Kantian received his PhD from the University of Innsbruck in 2010, and has held a postdoctoral position at the University of Geneva.
Adrian's work is centered on exploring novel phenomena in strongly correlated many-body systems, as well as developing new tools and methods for use on difficult existing problems. The prospect of engineering quantum states and Hamiltonians and use them as simulators to address long-standing physics questions initially drew him to the field of ultracold atomic gases. The work on strong correlations in cold gases has led him to shift his interests to some fundamental problems of condensed matter physics, like unconventional superconductivity.
