Members of the Board
The Nordita Board consists of seven to nine members, including a Chair. The majority of the members must be scientifically competent. The Presidents of Stockholm University, KTH, and Uppsala University each appoint one member. The Chair and remaining members are appointed by the President of Stockholm University after consultation with the President of KTH. The Board elects a Vice Chair from among its members.
The Board is elected for a term of three years. No member should serve more than two consecutive terms. The Chair is appointed for a period of three years, starting on July 1st.

Nordita Director and Observers
The Nordita Director reports to the Board and has the right to attend and speak at meetings.
Observers for Nordita staff have the right to attend and speak at meetings.
