Junior Faculty
- Nordita Assistant Professor
(Nordic funding) 5 year non tenure track position fully paid by Nordita; employed after having been selected by a panel appointed by Nordita.
- Nordita Assistant Professor
(external funding) 3-5 year non tenure track position. Paid by grants held by themselves and/or other faculty or external fellowships. Selected using the normal procedure of the host university, and required to spend a substantial part of their time at Nordita.
- Nordic Associate Professor
Joint appointment with other Nordic university. Tenured appointment by joint committee, and partly paid by Nordita.
Postdocs and Researchers
- Nordita Postdoc
Paid by grants held by faculty, or other grants. Selected using the normal procedure of the host university, and required to spend a substantial part of their time at Nordita.
- Nordita Fellow
Fully paid by Nordita; employed after having been selected by a panel appointed by Nordita.
Visitors
- Guest Researcher
Long and short term visitor.
- Visiting Ph.D. Student
4 weeks stipends paid by Nordita.
Corresponding Fellows
- Corresponding Fellow
Faculty members at other Nordic universities which are regular visitors, and of value for Nordita activities. Appointed by the board for 3 years. Economic agreement on case to case basis, normally to cover travel and local expenses.
